Opus Magnum

Opus Magnum, a Zachtronics Zachlike alchemical engineering game. Using the "transmutation engine" this game is about programming the physical mechanisms that split, combine, and move alchemical reagents to form the target alchemical elements.

The programming is quite different from the other Zachtroincs games since it concerns the 'physical' movement of the arms to manipulate the elements and is this not represented as an assembly language.

One interesting aspect of the game is that the programs of the arms are essentially pipelined. However, I haven't spent a lot of time optimising my creations. The fun for me here was primarily making the engines and observing the, at times, mesmerising dance of arms and elements on screen.

Solutions to a few of the exercises, which are exported using the built in GIF exporter!
